What is architecture without people? Aren’t they containers of memories to be washed down into dust? When the money shifts the architectures become redundant. The New takes space of the old. The old goes into dust with all the memories and hope.
There is a saying in Bangla ‘Dhulai Milay Sokoli’- All ends in dust. I wanted to visualize the relationality of time and architecture. The universality of accepting loss of a bygone time.The performance is connected to different terrestrial sounds of the building by 6 roaming mobile phones to 6 phones left around the performance to examine how an architecture waiting to fall down keep on restoring lives.
